Helpful FAQs

about our Health Services

Safety, Medical Limitations & Contraindications to our Health Services

Can your health services replace medical advice?

No. Our health services are holistic in nature and are not a substitute for professional medical advice. They are intended to complement conventional care, not replace it. For medical diagnoses, prescriptions, conventional treatment plans, or serious health concerns, we strongly recommend consulting your GP or healthcare provider.

Are your holistic health screenings right for everyone?

Our holistic health screenings are suitable for many individuals, but they are not appropriate for everyone. Certain health conditions may prevent the use of the Wegamed devices. We therefore check for relevant contraindications before carrying out a screening to help ensure our health services are appropriate for you.

Are your holistic treatments suitable for everyone?

Our holistic treatments are suitable for many individuals, but suitability depends on your individual circumstances and the type of treatment. We always consider relevant health conditions and contraindications before proceeding.

For most Wegamed-based treatments, we recommend starting with an appropriate whole body health screening or food intolerance test. This can help us better understand your individual needs and tailor the treatment accordingly.

However, a prior screening is not required for every service. Our Functional Breathing Assessment & Oxygen Advantage® Training can be provided without a prior health screening, and our Deep Detox & Circulation Therapy can also be booked as a standalone treatment.

Before your treatment, we will discuss relevant health information and contraindications with you and determine whether the service is appropriate and whether any adaptations are needed.

Contraindications: Are there any reasons someone should avoid your screenings or treatments?

Yes. The considerations are different depending on the service. Although our methods are generally non-invasive, certain health conditions may mean that a service is not suitable, while others may simply require the session to be adapted.

2. Functional Breathing Assessment & Oxygen Advantage® Training

Breathing assessment and Oxygen Advantage® training has different considerations.

Pregnancy is the only absolute contraindication, so we would not provide the breathing training during pregnancy.

If you have any of the following conditions, you may still be able to have the breathing assessment and training, but you must inform us beforehand:

  • High blood pressure or hypertension
  • Cardiovascular or heart disease
  • A recent heart attack
  • Type 1 diabetes
  • Kidney disease
  • Depression
  • Cancer

Where these conditions are present, we can adapt the breathing exercises, intensity and approach to make the session more gentle and appropriate for your individual circumstances.

We will always discuss relevant health conditions with you before starting and, where appropriate, may recommend seeking advice from your doctor or another qualified healthcare professional.

  • Trusted premium solutions used by professionals worldwide.
  • Far more precise and consistent than budget home test kits.
  • Fast, painless, and non-invasive. No blood draws, no discomfort.
  • Instant test results allow for tailored healing programs with personalised guidance.
  • Suitable for children aged 4+.
  • Follow-up testing is available to monitor progress.
  • Can uncover hidden issues and emotional triggers often missed by conventional methods.

Why choose your food intolerance screening?

Our screening is accurate, non-invasive, and based on proven technology. We take time to understand your health history before testing, which provides context and improves accuracy. Unlike elimination diets that can take months, this method quickly identifies intolerances so you can make confident dietary decisions.

How does the Wegamed Test Expert Plus food intolerance screening differ from home test kits?

Home test kits provide basic food lists, while the Test Expert Plus offers a far deeper and more reliable analysis. It screens for food intolerances and assesses how your organs and systems may be impacted. You receive a full health overview, plus guidance to help you move forward confidently.

Which holistic screening should I start with?

If you’re unsure whether to choose our Whole-body Health screening, Food Intolerance Test or Comprehensive screening, simply get in touch. We’ll help you choose the most appropriate option based on your individual needs, health concerns and goals.

Who is Wegamed?

We use holistic screening and treatment machines developed by Wegamed, a company with over 25 years of research. Founded by Dr. Peter Mölleney, Wegamed is ISO and TÜV NORD certified, CE-marked, FDA registered, and compliant with international standards such as MDSAP.

How do the Test Expert Plus and Check Medical Elite devices work?

These devices use Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA), a non-invasive technology that uses a very low-level electrical current to assess the body’s electrical impedance. Different tissues and bodily fluids conduct electrical signals differently, allowing the device to analyse variations in the body’s response.

Within our health screenings and food intolerance assessments, this technology is used to provide information across a range of selected physiological parameters and areas of the body. The results can help identify areas that may benefit from further attention and provide a more personalised picture of your individual wellbeing.

The information gathered is considered alongside your individual circumstances and the wider assessment to help us provide personalised, bio-individualised wellness guidance.

What do Wegamed holistic screening devices assess?

Our Wegamed holistic screening devices provide a non-invasive assessment of a range of selected physiological and wellbeing parameters. We use two complementary systems, each providing a different level of insight.

Check Medical Elite
Provides a broad overview of selected areas of wellbeing, including stress and energy balance, detoxification and elimination, acidity and oxidation, nutritional status, emotional wellbeing and muscle tone. The assessment can also provide personalised insights relating to nutrition, physical activity and training, including suggested training times for athletes.

Test Expert Plus
Provides a more detailed assessment across areas including food intolerances, organ-related parameters and the microbiome. It can provide additional personalised information to help us identify areas that may require further attention and support more individualised wellness recommendations.

Used together, these assessments provide a broader, more personalised picture of your individual wellbeing, which can help inform tailored nutritional, lifestyle and wellness guidance.

Holistic Treatments & Expected Results

How quickly can I expect results from your holistic treatments?

Healing takes time. The body needs space to repair and rebalance, especially when issues have developed slowly due to stress, diet, or lifestyle. Our treatments work with your natural rhythm, helping you gradually release layers of imbalance and move toward improved health.

Can you guarantee health results?

No. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes, as healing varies from person to person. Results depend on individual physiology, lifestyle, and the level of collaboration between therapist and client. Medications, supplements, and remedies may also influence results.

What’s behind the Med Matrix and Med Select holistic therapies?

Both Med Matrix and Med Select are based on bioresonance technology, which uses electrical signals and frequency-based stimulation as part of a non-invasive wellness approach.

The therapies are designed to support the body’s natural self-regulation and balance through individually selected therapeutic frequencies.

Med Select focuses on bioresonance-based frequency applications, while Med Matrix combines bioresonance with additional modalities, including vacuum suction and electrostimulation, to provide a more comprehensive treatment approach.

Rather than directly targeting or treating a specific illness, these therapies are used as part of a holistic approach to support wellbeing, detoxification, and the body’s natural regulatory processes, with the treatment tailored to the individual.
